Join The PairUP Society and the Mercer Museum for a special interactive celebration of Kwanzaa with music, vendors, kids activities and programming, including a special presentation with Dr. Wanda Lewis-Campbell, Cultural Educator.
Kwanzaa is an annual holiday that was first celebrated in 1966 to unite the African American community and to celebrate family and culture around seven core principles: Unity, self-determination, collective responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity and faith. Kwanzaa is celebrated every year from December 26 – January 1.
